Well it actually depends on the listener. Many of the Sing-lish styled radio program's are targeted at the young-adult market.
But if your into pure Sinhala Broadcasting in the Classical style your better off with SLBC or the new entrant MAX Radio, specially their programs at night are classy.

Thank god finally ONE of the trash radio staions have been shut down. I hope the other ones will now pull their socks up and do intelligent programming rather than have ramblings by giggling fools. Also the GOSL should lidten to songs like SOKARI which DIRECTLY talk about using drugs and SEX. SEx is a topic of art but the usage must be artistic. not crude like in SOKARI. s
Majority of the SL radio stations are total crap. I do not think any of them know the meaning of media. Not just RAJA but all should be banned. Even though those radios are sinhala channels, most of them do not know proper sinhala. This is a total digrace and an humiliation. For example in one radio channel there was a rap program and the host was speaking as he is still learning sinhala & english (he was a so called Remix composer)

Well that's why your given a choice? Nobody is forcing you to listen to them. Just like nobody is forcing you to eat food you don't like.
That's right most of the Radio stations talking bulshit for some of the gon hark, so they think that's how the radio should be i am 25 I already stopped listing to all the gon talk FM's
